Loan Officer
About The Position
National Bank is currently seeking candidates for an experienced Loan Officer based in Blacksburg. This positions primary responsibility will be to identify and work with customers to build a high quality and profitable banking relationship. They will take applications, analyze and close loans to bank customers and new customers, ensure completeness of documents and approvals, and ensure the Bank’s security interests are protected and the loan is conforming to bank policy and regulations. The Loan Officer will exemplify National Bank’s values while helping to grow the Bank’s presence in the communities we serve. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with strong oral and written communication skills, able to multitask, and thrive in a customer service-oriented workplace.
Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in lending and business development are required.
Nice To Haves
- Computer skills involving appropriate software platforms are preferred.
