About The Position

The Loan Clerk will serve as the liaison between customers and the loan department, ensuring that all loan processes are handled efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with bank policies. Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in loan operations or a related field
• Ability to develop an understanding of customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Knowledge of banking products and loan processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong understanding of compliance and security guidelines.
• Ability to work well in a team setting and collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Record new loans and renewals of existing loans, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Prepare periodic loan reports and maintain proper records.
• Process loan payments accurately and efficiently.
• Calculate loan items such as interest and payments, ensuring correct amounts are recorded.
• Perform real estate and commercial loan reconciliations as required.
• Mail payment due and delinquency notices to customers, ensuring completion and accuracy.
