About The Position
Custom Assembly, Inc., a family-run organization that has been in business for more than 30 years, assembles, warehouses, and distributes recreational vehicles. The Loader safely moves materials between storage areas and trailers using forklift equipment and manual handling. The position reads and executes load plans, stages units and materials for counting and inspection, secures units for transit, and accurately completes shipping and receiving reports.
Requirements
- Two years of warehouse experience.
- Forklift driving certification or experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift equipment and manually move materials to and from storage, and load and unload trailers.
- Read and execute the load plan.
- Stage units and materials for counting and inspection; ensure shipping reports accurately report units and materials shipped.
- Secure units with strapping to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
- Accurately complete receiving reports for units and materials received.
