About The Position

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is hiring a Loader in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role is responsible for safely loading parts onto a moving production line and helping keep production running by checking incoming materials. The schedule is 1st Shift, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., with overtime as required.

The Loader maintains a clean work area, identifies and rejects materials that do not meet specifications or quality standards, and stores and handles materials properly. The position requires standing at a workstation for extended periods and performing repetitive arm and hand motions in a manufacturing environment that may involve noise, dust, heat, and cold air. The role also requires working alongside other production operators and responding quickly to changing situations and priorities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Six months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and react to changing priorities.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Understanding of quality control.
• Ability to stand at a workstation for extended periods and sustain repetitive arm and hand motions.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold air.
• Flexibility with production hours.
• Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Safely load parts onto a moving production line.
• Check incoming materials to help prevent production interruptions.
• Keep the work area clean and perform necessary housekeeping.
• Recognize and reject parts or materials that do not meet specifications or quality standards.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
