About The Position

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Loader to off-load and inspect parts of products being produced, then place them in the proper rack to support continuous mill operation. The role is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and is scheduled for first shift, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Overtime is required as needed.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Experience using special measuring devices, calipers, and tape measures.
Ability to read part drawings to perform product inspections.
Roll tooling experience with setups and changeovers.
Demonstrated ability to meet negotiated time frames.
Forklift experience.
Good communication skills with coworkers to help ensure continuous mill flow.
Ability to think and react to schedule changes and mill conditions.
Ability to contribute as a valued team member in continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

Prioritize safety, quality, and production priorities.
Help keep the mill operational.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area using 5S practices.
Assist with mill changeover processes.
Perform total productive maintenance (TPM) on processes and equipment in the area.
Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.
Perform visual quality checks for straightness, galvanization integrity, and length to ensure products meet quality requirements.
Work hands-on with maintenance to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Focus on mill production efficiency, problem resolution, and cost-saving opportunities.
Off-load product, inspect parts, and place product in the proper rack.
