About The Position

Responsible for palletizing cases of chicken products and loading the pallets into trailers. Product is sorted by code, pre-price, and master order number. Verification of quantity and product code is performed by using a scanning gun held over the product code on each box. Help maintain and improve quality and food safety to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to read and write numbers
• Math skills
• Ability to identify problems with labels, scan guns, rider pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Able to work in a 28ºF cold environment
• Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time (8-10 HRS) on a concrete/metal grate floor
• Must be able to show computer knowledge to deal with incoming and outgoing trucks
• Must be able to lift 65+ LBS
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Capable of passing Power Industrial Truck licensing and operating heavy machinery
• Must have full understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out program and be capable of passing LOTO training
