About The Position
At SRM Concrete, we are looking for hands-on, hard-working people to join us as Loader Operators. This role involves operating powerful front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move materials around the plant, keeping concrete flowing and operations moving. The position requires loading and unloading trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors, and working closely with the crew and production team to maintain schedules. Safety is paramount, involving pre- and post-shift equipment checks, adherence to all safety rules, and maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities also include keeping the work area clean and organized, assisting with inventory counts, and contributing ideas for improvement. The role demands a team player who is physically able to work in various weather conditions and willing to assist wherever needed.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and work hard (training provided).
- Valid Driver's License.
- Commitment to safety for oneself and the team.
- Ability to perform basic equipment checks and handle minor fixes.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Physically capable of performing a job that requires movement in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities
- Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant.
- Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
- Collaborate with the crew and production team to maintain operational schedules.
- Perform pre- and post-shift equipment checks and report any necessary repairs.
- Adhere to all safety rules and wear required safety gear.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Provide assistance to teammates and help with various tasks as needed.
