About The Position

SRM Concrete is hiring a hands-on Loader Operator to help keep its concrete plant and operations running. The role operates front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move materials such as sand, gravel, and cement, and supports the production team by loading and unloading trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors. Operators inspect equipment, report repair needs, follow safety requirements, maintain a clean and organized work area, assist with inventory, and help teammates as needed. The position offers local work with employees home after each shift; the company is closed Sundays. Hourly compensation includes overtime after 8 hours, with eligibility for bonuses and annual raises. The posting also describes opportunities to develop skills and advance within the company.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, cement, and other materials around the plant.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
• Work with the crew and production team to keep operations on schedule.
• Inspect equipment before and after each shift and report repair needs.
• Follow safety rules, wear required protective gear, and help maintain a safe plant.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Help count inventory and monitor material levels.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to support improvement.
• Assist teammates and take on other work as needed.
