About The Position

The Loader/Operator/Warehouse Laborer assists with daily operational duties at a GROWMARK FS retail supply facility. The role helps maintain facility and equipment operations, manages and distributes inventory, moves and stocks warehouse products, and delivers products as requested. It also supports other operations personnel, contributes to efficiency and cost reduction, provides customer service, and works with the location manager on safety and compliance issues. The position may involve local errands and other assigned duties, and requires working hours outside the normal schedule to meet seasonal demands.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of front-end loader and retail-related work experience demonstrating knowledge of basic business principles of inventory management and mechanics.
Demonstrated abilities in business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Ability to lift 51–70 pounds as needed.
Ability and willingness to work in extreme weather conditions, including hot, cold, and wet conditions.
Ability to work around dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards while following appropriate safety measures.
Ability to work hours outside the normal schedule to meet seasonal demands.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training.

Responsibilities

Maintain operations at the retail supply location and follow the facility and equipment maintenance schedule.
Operate a front-end loader to load products onto trucks.
Manage inventory and distribute products; drive and deliver products as requested.
Stock and move warehouse products and materials.
Assist full-time and part-time operations personnel.
Maintain the image and condition of the facility and equipment.
Help improve efficiency and reduce costs to achieve operational goals.
Provide excellent customer service.
Work with the location manager on safety and compliance issues.
Follow the GROWMARK Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, and applicable Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures.
Drive and run local errands as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in required training related to company policies, procedures, and position requirements.
