About The Position

The Part-Time Loader Operator I operates heavy equipment and trucks, prepares equipment for auction in yards, and helps customers during and after auctions. The role also supports vehicle check-in and other yard staff responsibilities as needed, while promoting a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Experience operating heavy machinery.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly.
• A track record of working safely and helping others work safely.
• Ability to relate well with customers and team members.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Organized, able to handle multiple tasks at once, and attentive to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to operate a large 36,000 lbs forklift is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks.
• Help set up equipment in the yard for auctions.
• Help customers load their equipment purchases and answer questions related to the yard.
• Take personal responsibility for personal and team, coworker, and customer safety in support of the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety.
• Learn and assist with vehicle check-in tasks as needed.
• Support and assist with Yard Staff responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
