About The Position
The Loader Operator I operates heavy equipment and trucks, prepares equipment in the yard for auctions, and assists customers during and after auctions. The role supports safe work practices, helps with vehicle check-in and other yard staff responsibilities as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience operating heavy machinery.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
- A track record of working safely and helping others work safely.
- Ability to relate well with customers and team members.
- Ability to work as part of a team and help where needed, as well as self-start and work independently.
- Organization and ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- High level of attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to operate a large 36,000 lbs forklift.
Responsibilities
- Operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks.
- Help set up equipment in the yard for auctions.
- Help customers load their equipment purchases and answer questions related to the yard.
- Take personal responsibility for the safety of yourself, your team, coworkers, and customers, supporting the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety.
- Learn and assist with vehicle check-in tasks as needed.
- Support and assist with Yard Staff responsibilities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
