About The Position

Trystar is seeking a Loadbanks Assembler for its cable line. The position supports the company’s strategic objectives and its goal of becoming a leading custom solution provider. The assembler proficiently and safely assembles cable products in a high-volume cable manufacturing environment, with a focus on producing quality products. The role involves following standard operating procedures to operate equipment and manufacture products, using hand tools to set up and operate equipment, and carrying out quality checks and inspections. The position requires manufacturing experience, the ability to understand written plant directives in English, and the physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds intermittently, as well as frequent standing, bending, reaching, and lifting. Employees must meet PPE requirements and pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Requirements

High school diploma.
One year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds intermittently.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English.
Ability to perform simple mathematics and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, and tally sheets.
Ability to frequently lift, stand, bend, and reach.
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
Must adhere to PPE requirements, including eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection.

Responsibilities

Read, comprehend, and follow processes and procedures in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to operate equipment and manufacture products properly.
Maintain and operate hand tools needed to set up, take apart, and operate equipment.
Perform required quality control checks and inspections to ensure manufactured products meet specifications.
Perform simple mathematics to interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, and tally sheets, and accurately account for materials used, including scrap.
Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
