About The Position

The Load Out Operator uses heavy equipment for loading outbound trucks with Cookie Meal and aerating the Cookie Meal to ensure coolness. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of material handling and ensuring product quality through proper aeration.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in loader operation and maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
• Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates yard and plant articulating equipment to load materials.
• Maintains and aerates material to ensure most efficient cooling.
• Performs daily maintenance on loader before each shift.
• Washes plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas as necessary using high pressure power washer.
• Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.
• Keeps area clean; meal dust in work area and loadout bay.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• Aware of, have received training and is responsible for maintaining Darling's Food Safety program.
• All other duties as assigned.
