About The Position

The Load Out Operator uses heavy equipment for loading outbound trucks with Cookie Meal and aerating the Cookie Meal to ensure coolness. This role is based in a bakery facility and requires tolerance for high heat and/or cold temperatures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in loader operation and maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
• Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates yard and plant articulating equipment to load materials.
• Maintains and aerates material to ensure most efficient cooling.
• Performs daily maintenance on loader before each shift.
• Washes plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas as necessary using high pressure power washer.
• Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.
• Keeps area clean; meal dust in work area and loadout bay.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• Aware of, have received training and is responsible for maintaining Darling's Food Safety program.
• All other duties as assigned.
