About The Position
TRI Center Inc is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Mental Health Counselor (MHC/LMHC) to provide high-quality social work and counseling services in New York, NY. The role involves delivering individual, group, and family therapy; coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams; advocating for clients; and monitoring progress to adapt treatment plans. The position supports individuals and communities served by TRI Center, an OASAS-licensed substance use disorder organization operating in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Brooklyn. Requirements
- Active New York State Licensed Master Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor (LMSW/LMHC) license; limited permits are accepted.
- Master's degree from an accredited program.
- Experience in case management, clinical assessment, and treatment planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience utilizing evidence-based practices (EBPs).
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy and counseling services.
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic client care.
- Advocate for clients' rights and work to remove barriers to care and services.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
