We pride ourselves on our innovation, sustainability, and dedication to excellence. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Livestock Admin & Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Livestock Admin & Accounts Team Leader, Southern Operations, this role will deliver accurate and timely reporting of livestock costs and movements to key stakeholders and provide accurate office administration support to sites.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the livestock industry
  • Demonstrated computer literacy in excel, word and outlook
  • Responds calmly in difficult situations, maintaining a strong customer service focus
  • Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-skill
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of daily livestock costings and cost analysis, buyer liaison and feedback
  • Reconciliation and payment of vendor invoices
  • Liaising with and responding to enquiries from customers (external and internal), buyers, producers and stakeholders
  • Collation of data and preparation of reports, including stock on hand, and month-end reconciliation of levies
  • Site administration tasks, including AR service kill and manual invoicing, and basic support for the site accountant as required
  • Support and complete all financial audit requests promptly
  • Other Ad-hoc duties as required
