About The Position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead all finance and accounting functions for the Livestock Division, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable reporting Serve as a strategic partner to the Livestock President and operations, driving profitability and operational efficiency Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; align with corporate goals and drive accountability to results Analyze performance, identify trends and variances, and translate insights into clear action plans Partner with managers to strengthen financial acumen and improve decision-making Identify risks and opportunities; lead initiatives to improve margins, control costs, and optimize working capital Oversee capital planning and investment analysis, ensuring strong ROI discipline Maintain and improve internal controls, financial processes, and reporting tools Ensure compliance with corporate policies while driving efficiency and simplification Build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate financial performance clearly across all levels Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and development within the finance function KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Proven ability to lead through influence and build trust across all levels of an organization Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset High level of accountability, ownership, and attention to detail Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information Experience with financial systems, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives Working knowledge of livestock or agricultural operations strongly preferred EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred) 7–10+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, including leadership responsibility Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to connect results to operational drivers
