Then join our team as a LiveOps Game Designer for Goodgame Empire and Empire: Four Kingdoms and demonstrate that your motivation lies in creating both new and enhanced features, always aiming to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience that aligns with our business objectives. This is a fully remote, permanent position for candidates based in Germany, Sweden, Bulgaria, or Malta (valid visa required). Alternatively, we welcome applications from Freelancers working within the German time zone. In this role, you'll join the Empire Family Team working on Goodgame Empire, Empire Four Kingdoms and future additions to the franchise. Collaborate closely with our 70+ dedicated professionals, employ your initiative and strong communication skills to seamlessly integrate your ideas into our MMO pioneer games with more than 200 million registered players worldwide and a history of more than 1bn € in revenues. Goodgame Studios is known for successful strategy titles and data-driven game development. We self-publish our games in-house and have all relevant professions under one roof. Plus, we are part of Stillfront Group, one of Europe’s leading game publishers with a strong focus on long-term IP growth.

Requirements

• Experience in Game Design / Game Balancing or Product Management in free-to-play games
• Good understanding of LiveOps game dynamics, including monetization strategies, in-game economies and player behavior
• Aspiration to take ownership and striving to get things done with a cost/benefit mindset
• Strong written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Design new and rework existing game features and systems targeted to improve key game metrics
• Propose improvements and measures aligned with the game vision, player feedback, data analysis and business goals
• Create pitch presentations, wireframes and documentation to clearly communicate your designs to the team
• Utilize AI tools in your daily work to leverage your own output
• Transfer and adapt successful game mechanics from various genres
