About The Position

We are looking for a Live Sales Chat Agent to join our Inside Sales team. This is a sales-focused role, not a traditional customer service position. You will engage with customers in real-time via live chat, identify sales opportunities, and help convert inquiries into revenue. You will act as a key link between customers and our sales team—providing product guidance, qualifying leads, and supporting order-related inquiries while uncovering opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or customer-facing sales roles
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal
  • Proven ability to upsell, cross-sell, and qualify leads
  • Experience using CRM/ERP tools (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite)
  • Ability to manage multiple conversations in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with sales methodologies and discovery processes

Nice To Haves

  • post-secondary diploma preferred
  • fluency in French, and/or Spanish preferred
  • Familiarity with tools like Outreach or similar sales platforms
  • Experience managing or growing a book of business or territory
  • Sales training or certifications

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers via live chat to answer product questions (materials, sizing, safety ratings, availability)
  • Identify and act on upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Support customers with product selection and purchasing decisions
  • Verify and qualify incoming inquiries
  • Route leads to the appropriate sales team with complete and accurate information
  • Distinguish between sales opportunities and service-related inquiries
  • Provide updates on order status, shipping timelines, and back-orders
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent and accurate communication
  • Provide product comparisons and cross-references against competitor products
  • Highlight Superior Glove’s unique value and differentiators
  • Build strong relationships with distributors and end-users
  • Share insights from customer interactions to support continuous improvement
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to achieving sales targets
