About The Position

Visiting Angels is a trusted provider of senior home care, operating since 1998. We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Live-In Angel Care Specialists. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to local seniors, helping them live safer, happier, and more comfortable lives in their own homes. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• PCA (personal care aide), Nurse Aide Course Completion Certificate, or CNA (certified nursing assistant) license.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day.
• Auto Insurance.
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Supportive and compassionate.
• Take pride in providing high quality care.
• Must pass a state-mandated criminal background check, reference check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year) preferred.
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client).

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with ADLs and iADLs to clients.
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Transportation to & from appointments (typically in client's vehicle).
• Assist with errands.
• Provide warm, friendly companionship.
• Enforce health and safety standards.
