Live Haul Supervisor-Seguin, TX
About The Position
This position is responsible for scheduling the catching, loading, and hauling of live broilers to the processing plant while monitoring DOAs. Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: promoting safety and ensuring a safe working environment; monitoring drivers' time and ELD logs; reviewing coaching Drive Cam videos; ensuring drivers and catchers arrive on time at the farm and plant; working with catch contractors, Live Haul Manager, and driver supervisor to ensure operations run as smoothly as possible; making changes to the catch and haul schedule; supervising and/or helping personnel in the repair of cages; and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 plus years experience in live haul
- Class A CDL required
- Basic computer skills, including sending and answering emails, and building and changing spreadsheets
- Supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Nice To Haves
- Welding experience preferred
