About The Position
Legacy Turkey has full-time, benefits eligible, Live Haul - Bird Mover roles available. Sunday - Thursday and Friday/Saturday as needed; start times vary. This role involves repetitive motion, bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 50lb. The pay range varies based on experience. Located in Melrose, MN, Legacy Turkey employs many people in a variety of roles with varying levels of expertise. We hire individuals with a strong work ethic who align with our core values.
Requirements
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to safely wear respiratory protection equipment.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Live Haul crew to safely and efficiently load turkeys according to established procedures.
- Follow all Live Haul safety, animal welfare and sanitation requirements.
- Properly wear required respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment.
- Follow the personal hygiene policy, which requires employees in this position to be clean-shaven to ensure respiratory equipment fits properly.
- Perform other position-specific duties as assigned by your supervisor.
