About The Position

As a Live Event Project Manager (LEPM), you will work closely with National Account Managers (NAMs) and customers. The LEPM will run an event from cradle to grave and will be responsible for technical leadership of the BearCom staffing team. Working with customer contacts, will build install and teardown schedules, along with working with branch office management when those parties are involved. All booking of large events will be accompanied by a Statement of Work (SOW). The LEPM will work closely with the RNAMs to build and present the SOW to the customer. Once the SOW is approved by the customer, it is the responsibility of the LEPM manage event staff and execute to plan. Creation and consistent maintenance of standard operation procedures for event staff will be required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in the wireless communication rental business
  • 3+ years’ experience in leadership role
  • Six Sigma Certification is required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19 virus, unless a medical or religious exemption applies.
  • Drug screenings and background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle Record check

Responsibilities

  • Real time decision making in addressing NAM and customer needs, while staying within company guidelines
  • Problem solving in the face of customers to meet SOW requirements
  • Provide leadership and cultivate an environment within the Event Support Team that is inclusive and centers on teamwork
  • Manage expenses within budgets and answer to monthly departmental P&L statements
  • Consistently working to improve on policies & procedures
  • Overcome internal & external conflicts in day to day business
  • Travel to customer events to staff and support
  • Multi-task and work under time constraints
