About The Position

As a Live Event Creative Production Designer within PNC's Communications organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Live Event Creative Production Designer, you will be a key member of PNC’s internal Live Event Team, which produces more than 200 events annually, ranging from corporate livestreams to off-site recognition events. You will transform creative concepts into compelling visual experiences while collaborating with internal clients, including members of PNC’s Executive Committee. This role supports team objectives and ensures creative work aligns with broader enterprise goals.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing time independently as well as collaboratively within team settings
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders which include members of the executive committee
  • Consistently deliver work by established deadlines
  • Adhere to style guidelines, leveraging brand awareness in aspects such as color schemes and font selection
  • Oversee projects from initiation through to completion
  • Capably to perform under pressure while maintaining productivity in fast-paced environments
  • Extensive proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Established ability in PowerPoint presentation design and comprehensive knowledge of MS Office products
  • Basic knowledge of virtual meeting platforms like MS Teams and Zoom
  • Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree with 6-8 years of relevant professional experience in corporate graphic design, motion graphics, broadcast studio and control room knowledge.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education

Responsibilities

  • Design both dynamic and static backgrounds for corporate events and livestreams
  • Develop graphics for Cvent invitations, PowerPoint templates tailored to special events, and logo updates for recognition occasions
  • Lead project planning for major corporate events, including offsite recognition ceremonies
  • Active member in live event productions by either assuming a crew role or overseeing event execution
  • Possess fundamental knowledge of broadcast control room equipment and operational workflow
  • Executes communications strategies that help drive business priorities.
  • Supports the development of communication strategies; plans, researches and develops content for complex communications initiatives.
  • Identifies issues and opportunities, and engages other parts of the organization to ensure strategic alignment, clarity, and accuracy of the message.
  • Ensures data collected is synthesized and leveraged effectively to provide appropriate insights.
  • Implements and oversees activities, including approval requirements in coordination with legal, compliance, finance, risk and other key partners.
  • Supports partnership with agencies, third parties and internal business partners to coordinate the development and execution of programs/initiatives.
