About The Position

Leveraging graphic arts and technical skills, the Creative Designer/Developer is responsible for the design and development of effective print, web, video, and interactive multimedia solutions for training, education, and communication initiatives. This role involves designing blended learning solutions, developing advanced learning projects, and producing deliverables for various educational formats including instructor-led training, eLearning, and web-based education. The position also includes responsibilities in photography, photo editing, audio and video production, post-production, and archiving. The Creative Designer will assist Subject Matter Experts with storyboard development, author motion graphics, and complete post-production processes for final deliverables. Additionally, they will create designs for print and online materials, conceptualize innovative designs adhering to brand standards, produce 2D and 3D animations, and develop interface and responsive design wireframes and mockups. The role also requires using SharePoint and other content management systems for design deployment.

Requirements

  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc).
  • A solid understanding of design, color and typography principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Art or equivalent in graphic or web design, visual communication, or instructional design related field.
  • Prior experience with healthcare finance or revenue cycle organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic experience with eLearning software (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Competency in Adobe After Effects or other motion graphic software.
  • Experience with 3D graphics applications (Cinema 4D, Maya).
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web languages.
  • Photo retouching/manipulation.
  • Experience with Audio and Video production and editing using Adobe applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Design blended learning solutions using a variety of techniques and media assets.
  • In partnership with senior staff, design, develop, and implement advanced learning projects that provide performance/accomplishment-based skills training.
  • Produce deliverables for instructor led training, traditional eLearning, mobile and web based education.
  • Photography and photo editing.
  • Equipment setup and maintenance, production, post-production, and archiving.
  • Audio and video production and post-production.
  • Assist Subject Matter Expert (SME) with storyboard development, participate in production on-site and organize storage of assets.
  • Author motion graphics, using artwork and advanced design adaptation for all types of multimedia communication and education.
  • Under the direction of senior staff complete post-production process for final deliverables.
  • Create designs for various print and online materials.
  • Conceptualize and develop innovative designs that adhere to brand and departmental standards.
  • Produce 2D and 3D animations for communication and education.
  • Draft initial graphic concepts through to final deliverables.
  • Develop interface and responsive design wireframes and mockups.
  • Use SharePoint and other content management systems to launch/deploy designs.
