About The Position

Enel, a multinational energy company and a leading integrated operator in the global electricity and gas markets, is seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join our team. With operations in over 34 countries and a customer base of almost 72 million end-users, we are one of Europe's leading electricity companies. We are currently looking for a Live Chat Support representative to join us on a part-time basis. This role is based in United, Pennsylvania, United States, and is a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional communicator to provide first-class support to our valued customers. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customer queries, providing assistance and solutions through our digital chat platform. The offered compensation for this role is between $28.67 and $31.24 USD per hour.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, with direct experience in live chat support being highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with a strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Excellent typing speed and the ability to manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a patient, empathetic, and professional demeanour.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other customer support tools.
  • The ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responding promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via live chat.
  • Providing accurate and comprehensive information regarding our services, products, and billing.
  • Identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction and resolution.
  • Troubleshooting issues effectively and escalating complex cases to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Working collaboratively with team members to improve customer service processes and performance.
  • Upholding the company's brand voice and high standards of customer care in all communications.
