About The Position

American Marine Canvas & Upholstery is a leading provider of custom marine canvas and upholstery for luxury yachts and large vessels across South Florida. We pride ourselves on using advanced 3D digital technology and the highest quality materials to deliver exceptional results. We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Live Chat Support Specialist to join our team. This is a Full-Time, Remote (US-Based) position, ideal for a self-motivated individual passionate about providing outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our discerning clientele, representing the quality and expertise our brand is known for.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role, such as customer service, client support, or a similar position.
• Direct experience with live chat support is highly desirable.
• Exceptional written communication skills, with a strong grasp of UK-English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
• A customer-first mindset with a genuine passion for helping people.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically under pressure.
• Must be highly organised, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and standard office software.

• An interest in the marine or luxury goods industry is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing real-time conversations with potential and existing customers.
• Engaging with clients via our live chat platform in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Providing accurate and detailed information about our custom canvas, upholstery services, and fabrication processes.
• Answering inquiries related to our 3D digital patterning technology, materials, project timelines, and service areas.
• Identifying customer needs to qualify leads and seamlessly pass them to our sales and design teams.
• Resolving customer issues and complaints with empathy and efficiency to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintaining precise records of all customer interactions and inquiries within our company database.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer journey.
• Staying informed about our range of services and industry developments to act as a knowledgeable resource for our clients.
