About The Position

This role involves assisting children with their daily routines and activities, including personal care, meals, rest periods, and engaging them in educational and recreational activities. The position requires a reliable and adaptable individual who can support the overall functioning of the classroom and attend to the needs of infants and toddlers.

Requirements

• At least six months related experience and/or training.

Nice To Haves

• CDA or higher (for Lead Teacher, implied as a desirable qualification for a floater in a similar environment).

Responsibilities

• Helps children remove outer garments.
• Organizes and participates in games, reads to children, and teaches them simple painting, drawing, handwork, songs, and similar activities.
• Develop schedules and routines.
• Directs children in eating, resting, and toileting.
• Change diapers of infants and toddlers.
• Helps children develop habits of caring for own clothing and picking up and putting away toys and books.
• Attend to all physical needs of an infant and toddler.
• Serves meals and refreshments to children and regulates rest periods.
• Assists in preparing food and cleaning.
