About The Position

The Litigation Specialist Intern will assist in-house attorneys in handling the defense of insureds of the Auto Club. This includes managing a broad array of claims asserting damages related to automobile and homeowners’ property and casualty insurance matters. The positions will provide opportunities for actual litigation experience and participation in depositions, mediations, and trials as observers. The internships will coincide with the broader AAA Roadways College Interns program, offering additional networking opportunities in corporate activities and exposure to a spectrum of departments. Requirements

• Second year law students in good academic standing
• Desire to continue with the Auto Club as a full-time litigation attorney post-graduation and upon successful passage of California bar exam

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of mentor attorneys to perform and assist with multiple legal tasks, including responding to discovery, conducting legal research, law and motion work, general litigation, and trial support.
• Observe depositions, mediations, and trials.
