About The Position

We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal for our Personal Injury Firm. The role involves managing discovery, court deadlines, and preparing legal documents. You will also be responsible for drafting correspondence, communicating with clients and other legal professionals, and assisting with pre-trial and trial preparation. The position is based in our Los Angeles office and requires a team-oriented and positive attitude.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
Knowledge of California Civil Procedure and Local Court Rules.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Superior time management and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to act independently and with minimal supervision.
Organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
Type at least 60 WPM.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

Propound and respond to discovery.
Calendar and manage court deadlines.
Prepare documents for filing with the Court.
Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel in an effective and courteous manner.
Assist with pre-trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits.
Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office.
