About The Position

A well-established, mid-size law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support plaintiff personal injury litigation. The paralegal will manage a caseload of approximately 20–30 active cases, work closely with attorneys, and contribute independently and as part of a team. The role is in office Monday through Friday.

The position includes drafting and editing correspondence and pleadings, managing case files and deadlines, supporting discovery, and preparing for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Compensation is $85,000–$100,000 per year, with discretionary performance bonuses. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and vacation time.

Requirements

• At least five years of litigation experience as a paralegal.
• Ability to draft pleadings for attorney review.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Knowledge of local rules and civil procedures.
• In-depth experience with the discovery process.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Friendly and compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Draft and edit correspondence and pleadings for attorney review.
• Monitor calendar deadlines and statutes of limitations.
• Work closely with attorneys.
• Manage cases and an active caseload of 20–30 cases.
• Prepare for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Prepare exhibit binders.
• E-file documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
