About The Position
The San Francisco office of Kaufman Dolowich LLP is seeking a talented and driven Litigation Associate to join their growing California team. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated and high-impact matters within a nationally recognized firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in Labor & Employment, Professional Liability, and/or Commercial Litigation and will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that offers meaningful responsibility, hands-on litigation experience, and long-term career growth opportunities.
Requirements
- J.D. degree with strong academic credentials
- Admission to practice in California required
- Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience
- Excellent written, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Strong organizational and case management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic litigation environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Labor & Employment, Professional Liability, and/or Commercial Litigation
- Experience handling legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, and other professional liability matters is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Draft and respond to written discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare motions, briefs, and other substantive pleadings
- Participate in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and oral arguments
- Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic case updates
- Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on complex matters
- Assist with all aspects of litigation strategy and case management
