About The Position

An established, multi-state real estate and creditors' rights law firm is seeking a qualified associate attorney to support its California practice. Requirements

Member in good standing of the California State Bar.
3-5 years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ right practice.
Willingness and ability to proactively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software.
Strong foundation in civil procedure, motions practice and loss mitigation.
Knowledge of Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the creditors’ rights practice generally.
Willingness to travel as required.
Commitment to superior client care and proactive communication.
Self-starter.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Additional Bar licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

Proactively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software to actively manage assigned matters.
Handle matters with a strong foundation in civil procedure, motions practice and loss mitigation.
Manage cases involving Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the creditors’ rights practice generally.
Attend court appearances and travel as required.
Exhibit a commitment to superior client care and proactive communication.
Work collaboratively in a team environment.
Mentor team members.
