Litigation Associate Attorney

The team prides itself on collaboration, integrity, and delivering outstanding results. They are seeking a highly motivated attorney to join their litigation practice group. This is a client-facing role offering a genuine opportunity to develop and sharpen litigation and trial skills, going beyond traditional research-and-writing tasks. The firm supports professional development through practice area development and building a book of business.
Requirements
- 2 - 6 years of experience working in all phases of litigation, including client intake, drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial work
- Experience in entity formation, transactional work, and general counsel work
- Client-facing experience
- Ability to develop and sharpen litigation and trial skills
- Ability to build client relationships and develop a client base
Nice To Haves
- A portable book of business is encouraged but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage a wide range of litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other memoranda
- Conduct depositions, discovery, and pre-trial work
- Appear in court and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials
- Manage client communications and case strategy
- Create corporate documents for new and existing business entities
- Prepare transactional documents such as asset purchase agreements, real estate purchase agreements, and membership interest purchase agreements
- Offer guidance as general counsel to public and private sector clients
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries on complex litigation
