This is a client-facing role offering a genuine opportunity to develop and sharpen litigation and trial skills, going beyond traditional research-and-writing tasks. The firm supports professional development through practice area development and building a book of business.

Requirements

  • 2 - 6 years of experience working in all phases of litigation, including client intake, drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial work
  • Experience in entity formation, transactional work, and general counsel work
  • Client-facing experience
  • Ability to develop and sharpen litigation and trial skills
  • Ability to build client relationships and develop a client base

Nice To Haves

  • A portable book of business is encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a wide range of litigation matters from inception to resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other memoranda
  • Conduct depositions, discovery, and pre-trial work
  • Appear in court and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Manage client communications and case strategy
  • Create corporate documents for new and existing business entities
  • Prepare transactional documents such as asset purchase agreements, real estate purchase agreements, and membership interest purchase agreements
  • Offer guidance as general counsel to public and private sector clients
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries on complex litigation
