Requirements

  • To have the experience to bring process into color and printing specifications.
  • High School Diploma or GED required (additional education a plus)
  • Proven experience and knowledge of machine operation, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills, welding and machining.
  • Experience working in a metal forming manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity in the handling of manufacturing materials
  • Strong background in process safety management
  • Capable in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Good communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Understand and complete various verification procedures for the litho presses.
  • Set up and operate the litho presses including feeders, ovens and downstackers.
  • Prioritizes schedule on a daily basis for most efficient operations.
  • Understand all Learning/Training documentation including operating specs, diagnostics and machine rebuild.
  • Recommend and schedule preventive maintenance for all plant equipment as needed and assign scheduled maintenance tasks to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure all housekeeping is completed for all parts and surrounding area of litho presses.
  • Complete all preventative maintenance requirements daily, weekly, and monthly for the litho presses
  • Maintain all required tools for successful set-up, operation, and maintenance of the presses.
  • Understands the correct labeling and accurate counting procedures for this position.
  • Must be trained in material handling and forklift duties
