About The Position
Provide reading help to children, kindergarten through 5th grade, through fun and interactive activities: one-on-one reading, group reading and guided reading. Follow directions and guidance from public school staff and teachers. Attend reading tutor training and monthly meet-ups with supervisor and fellow tutors. Maintain accurate timesheet.
Requirements
- A love for working with children
- A passion for reading
- Mandatory attendance at monthly meet-ups
- Active participation in all trainings
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Clean background check
- Availability Monday through Friday, based on class schedule and availability
