About The Position
Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, the Liquor Team Member will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core values and Brand. This includes understanding and following Westview Co-op’s policies and procedures, participating in the Health and Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety. The role involves providing professional, people-first, service to our Members and Guests, living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto. Responsibilities also include maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly location, adhering to brand standards, operating the till/handling cash, stocking shelves and maintaining product displays, completing deliveries as needed, and assisting with other projects and assignments as required. This position requires the use of equipment, as well as frequent heavy lifting of product (up to 50lbs unassisted).
Requirements
- Must obtain ProServe Certification
- Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
- Professional, people-first, Guest service skills
- Understanding of our Values (Integrity, Community, Teamwork)
- Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Quality communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others
