About The Position

Kitchen workers at the Lion's Pause are responsible for preparing a variety of foods, including pizza and milkshakes. They also maintain a clean kitchen and a welcoming environment for customers. Additional duties may include handling customer transactions, exchanging money, and delivering food to students in residential halls on campus.

Requirements

• Interest in working in the Pause kitchen as part of a large team to provide food service to the campus.
• Ability to function well in an atmosphere that promotes teamwork as well as initiative and independence
• Ability to function in high stress environments
• Organizational and communication skills
• Ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Clean shake and ice cream machines and ovens
• Handle cash registers
• Open and close the kitchen when needed
• Do and sign off on shift responsibilities
• Make a variety of foods for customers
• Maintain a clean kitchen
