About The Position

Join the dynamic SPRINT Next Team as a Linux Systems Administrator - Service Desk specializing in Red Hat and PitBull technologies. PitBull is a highly secure operating system designed for environments that require strict security controls and data protection. This role involves hands-on work with RedHat Linux, system/server builds, and advanced troubleshooting, engaging with cross-domain and boundary device solutions, and providing top-notch customer service. The position also includes managing enterprise-level solutions and re-imaging workstations, servers, and peripherals.

Requirements

  • Master's degree. Bachelor's degree in a specialized area or equivalent relevant experience is required; plus, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Current or active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required with ability to obtain a Polygraph is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Strong experience with Red Hat LINUX command line administration.
  • Proficiency in OS and hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Ability to apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and address vulnerabilities.
  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility and be willing to obtain a Polygraph within a reasonable time following program onboarding.
  • A minimum of a IAT Level II (DoD 8570/8140.01) certification with CE is required at time of hire: e.g. CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, and CCNA-Security.
