About The Position
Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is hiring a System Administrator to support our customer in Dahlgren, VA. RMC provides high-quality, professional services to government and commercial sectors, with a mission to deliver exceptional management and technology solutions supporting the protection and preservation of the people and environment of the United States of America.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of demonstrated experience administering Linux Operating Systems.
- CompTIA Sec+ or GSEC or SSCP or CySA+ (Per DoD Directive 8570.01-M or successor, this position requires IAT Level 2 or higher certification).
- Certification in Linux system administration.
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Responsibilities
- Conducting patch and STIG to Linux Operating System.
- Providing technical support to resolve issues with Linux/Windows Operating Systems.
- Performing system updates and server configurations, to include upgrades of the Linux/Windows Operating Systems.
- Implementing changes to locally hosted workstations/servers.
