About The Position

Accenture Flex is hiring a Technology Platform Engineer to create production and non-production cloud environments using software tools tailored to projects and products. The role includes deploying automation pipelines and automating environment creation and configuration. The engineer will serve as a subject matter expert, collaborate with and manage the team, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. The position also involves resolving complex problems that affect multiple teams. The engineer will lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable cloud environments; drive continuous improvement in automation pipelines and deployment processes; and work with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business objectives. The role also provides technical guidance and support to team members and develops innovative solutions to improve platform performance and stability. The position requires working onsite three days per week in the client's Dallas office. Accenture Flex describes its work as local, fixed-duration, project-based work, with employees working in their local metro area onsite at the project. The role requires at least five years of work experience, including at least five years in Platform Engineering and five years in Linux. An associate degree is a basic qualification. Preferred qualifications include advanced proficiency in Technology Architecture and Modern Platform Engineering Architecture, and a bachelor's degree.
