A Linen Worker is responsible for all movement of linen throughout the building, including daily linen cuts for items such as OR packs, blankets, sheets, and towels.

Requirements

High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
Must have knowledge as to how to use and understand pagers.

Responsibilities

Maintain required logs including Linen Log, Soiled Linen Log, Clean Linen Log, and Linen distribution sheet.
Perform linen and OR Pack cuts on a daily basis.
Weigh Clean and Soiled linen daily.
Deliver clean linen and pick up soiled linen throughout the facility and occasionally at outside buildings.
Communicate and work closely with the Linen Manager and the Hospitality Management Team.
Maintain constant communication with the Call Center and update lunch status in the EPIC System.
Neatly fold scrubs and place them into the machines throughout the facility and outer building.
Ensure that the linen room is cleaned and organized by types of linen every day by 10:00 AM.
Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.
