Linen Technician; 1.0FTE; Day Shift
About The Position
The Linen Technician receives all linen into the Meriter computer system and uses the system to maintain accurate linen inventory through purchasing and cycle counting. The Linen Distribution Technician helps maintain appropriate linen inventory levels and performs periodic automatic replenishment (PAR) distribution functions related to service requests, scrub management, and soiled linen management for hospital units and clinic locations. The position is scheduled for the day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent reading, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Computer keyboard and basic accounting skills.
- Good concentration and problem-solving skills.
- Good organization and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Three months of computer experience with inventory control and receiving.
