About The Position
The Linen Handler receives, collects, distributes, tracks, and transports sterile, clean, and/or soiled linen throughout Mayo Clinic Rochester, including off-site clinics and satellite locations. The role requires working effectively both as part of a team and independently, completing tasks efficiently and safely, and routinely using computers, tracking software, and handheld units. The employee must develop a complete understanding and demonstrated proficiency in all area work tasks and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to move heavy carts and operate other mechanical equipment.
- A valid Minnesota driver’s license may be required.
- On-the-job training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Receive, collect, distribute, track, and transport sterile, clean, and/or soiled linen throughout Mayo Clinic Rochester, including off-site clinics and satellite locations.
