About The Position

The Linen Handler receives, stores, collects, distributes, tracks, and transports sterile, clean, and/or soiled linen throughout Mayo Clinic Rochester, including off-site clinic and satellite locations. The role requires working effectively both as part of a team and independently, while completing tasks efficiently and safely. The Linen Handler routinely uses a computer, tracking software, and handheld units, and is expected to understand and demonstrate proficiency in all area work tasks. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to move heavy carts and operate other mechanical equipment.
• A valid Minnesota driver’s license may be required.
• Complete understanding and demonstrated proficiency of all area work tasks.

Responsibilities
