About The Position

The Linen Handler receives, stores, collects, distributes, tracks, and transports sterile, clean, and/or soiled linen throughout Mayo Clinic Rochester, including off-site clinics and satellite locations. The role requires working effectively as part of a team and independently, efficiently, and safely. The employee routinely uses a computer, tracking software, and handheld units. On-the-job training is provided, and the employee must develop a complete understanding and demonstrated proficiency in all area work tasks. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to move heavy carts and operate other mechanical equipment.
• A valid Minnesota driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, collect, distribute, track, and transport sterile, clean, and/or soiled linen throughout Mayo Clinic Rochester, including off-site clinics and satellite locations.
• Work effectively in teams and independently, efficiently, and safely.

• Complete other duties as assigned.
