About The Position

The Linen Aide supports facility cleanliness and organization by delivering clean linen to designated stocking areas, collecting and laundering soiled linen, and maintaining appropriate linen levels throughout the facility. The role also prepares linen carts for delivery and reuse, stores remaining linen in the linen room, empties bins to accommodate soiled linen, and may track linen usage in a daily log. This position contributes to patient comfort and care.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age and have the education and/or experience needed to meet the required functional competencies.
• 0 to 2 years of health care linen experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months of similar work experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers clean linen to designated stock areas.
• Ensures proper linen levels are maintained in stock areas.
• Collects soiled linen.
• Launders soiled linen using a washer and dryer.
• Prepares carts for delivery and reuse.
• Stores remaining linen in the linen room.
• Empties bins to accommodate soiled linen.
• May track linen usage in a daily log.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
