This position involves setting up the production line, moving ingredients, and assembling various food items such as sandwiches, sub kits, platters, and chef-to-go meals. Responsibilities include cutting and preparing vegetables, loading and unloading racks, ovens, and other equipment, and placing containers on the conveyor belt at line speed. The role requires rotating through all positions and assisting with other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safe working habits, possess basic math skills, and be able to communicate effectively. Enthusiasm, initiative, pride in work, and a commitment to Publix and its mission are essential.
