The Team Leader, Fresh Kitchen position is responsible for performing tasks in the work area on a daily basis within the team. This includes being an on-the-floor work participant, understanding and maintaining department reports and procedures, coordinating breaks and lunch schedules, and overseeing equipment maintenance. The role also involves assisting managers with associate scheduling, understanding production requirements, promoting quality and food safety standards, and acting as a role model for associates. Additionally, the Team Leader will plan and conduct job skill training, lead improvements in plant operations, analyze KPIs and data, and perform day-to-day responsibilities of the Department Manager/Assistant Department Manager in their absence.
