About The Position

The Line Technician packages quality products at or above standard production rates. The employee follows standard operating procedures and becomes qualified in all technical positions within the department. Management determines the shift on which the team member must train. The employee works where directed by the Shift Manager or Shift Supervisor, follows current work instructions, and maintains production line efficiencies and yields at or above standard. The position includes quality checks, process documentation, and compliance with food safety standards.

Requirements

Be able to perform all duties assigned in the work instructions.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and use both right and left hands.
Successfully complete a basic certification assessment.
Be able to stand for the entire work schedule.
Be able to read and write basic English.
Be able to perform basic addition and subtraction.

Responsibilities

Work in the department where directed by the Shift Manager or Shift Supervisor.
Assume assigned job responsibilities and follow current standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Maintain line efficiencies and yields at or above standard.
Communicate production problems or safety issues to the Shift Supervisor.
Maintain process documentation for assigned tasks.
Perform required quality checks.
Produce quality products and meet food safety standards.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
Complete annual Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, and quality training, annual Work Instruction reviews, and additional training as necessary.
